    So proud of our eight students who presented at the University of Toledo Science Fair! Three of them qualified for states on May 12th. Others won some great awards including cash, savings bonds, and $250 Ohio Tuition Trust Award! Thank you to Science teacher Lisa Kuhl for leading the them through the scientific process.

    Congratulations to Lial Principal and President, Sr. Patricia Marie McClain, on receiving the 2018 John A. Thomas Servant Leadership Award. This award recognizes those who exhibit exceptional leadership, have served 10 years as a Catholic School Principal, and must demonstrate exceptional commitment and competence, and be seen as an outstanding leader by his/her peers, school community, and Diocese.

    Congratulations to Mrs. Sasala and Caroline Connelly. Caroline’s poster won the Knights of Columbus “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster design contest  for the next Christmas Season. Her artwork will be used to make billboards to be viewed in Toledo. Congratulations to our other artists who’s artwork is to be in area Art Shows in March.

    A dreary Friday was brightened by a visit from author/illustrator,  Michelle Nelson-Schmidt. She shared her story and writing techniques with all students from Lial. What an inspiration. Student had an opportunity to ask Ms. Schmidt about her writing process and art passion.

    Lial’s LaPetite Adventures

    Lial Catholic School is excited to announce the 2017-2018 Lial’s LaPetite Adventures. These FREE adventures take place on the first Friday of the month at Lial’s school campus. The programs are designed for three- and four-year-olds accompanied by their parent or caregiver to promote learning through everyday adventures.     There are several opportunities at Lial to put your Faith in Action. The service opportunities are year-round. Also our Middle School students have the opportunity to participate and serve along with many parent volunteers in our CIA, Christian in Action. This youth group not only participates in community out-reach but shares in the fun or working together and making a difference in the lives of others.
