Lial’s Intermediate program builds upon the foundation established in Primary. 4th, 5th and 6th grade age children continue to make continuous progress towards their own learning goals. Teachers work with students to encourage learning subjects at the highest level possible. Grade level doesn’t matter, the individual student’s ability does. In Intermediate, students embark on a semester-long project which culminates in writing a paper and producing a presentation.
Developing leadership skills is another component of Intermediate life. The Savio Club provides opportunities for service and outreach. Students can also participate in after school clubs such as Chess and Spelling Bee Clubs as well as sports programs.
Our Intermediate team consists of three family room teachers plus 6 specialists.
